The Golden Globes 2026: The Best

It was refreshing to have SO many submissions for The Best Dressed list - the ladies BROUGHT IT!

Golden Globes Awards Fashion

I love to rank the looks of Awards shows – The Good, The Bad and the Meh. This is JUST MY OPINION (Tamra Judge voice). You don’t have to agree!! It’s what makes the world go round (at times). I don’t typically judge the following: men, plus ones (unless famous in their own right), C/D list and random red carpet interviewers.

Miley Cyrus in Chanel

Miley.webp

I feel like we are going to be seeing A LOT of Miley in 2026, and not just because it’s the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana. I’m thrilled to get more music, acting, whatever! Especially after she swapped out her veneers for more natural ones – had to be done. I love this look. The shoulder detail is a fun surprise that only the confident can pull off. And I don’t hate the glasses? A vision in black!

Ariana Grande in Vivienne Westwood

ariana grande.webp

Never finished Wicked Part Two! Nikki nailed it- it was unnecessarily long! I’ve been struggling with the cosplaying as either a real-life Glinda or a potential grab for an Audrey Hepburn biopic, so I was so happy to see a more natural hair color and a standard VW silhouette on her! She works with the fabbbb Law Roach, so I’m hopeful for what’s to come as she unravels from years (decades???) of Wicked promo.

Amanda Seyfried in Versace

Amanda S.webp

When old school glamour hits, it HITS. She looks so good in this and her jewelry is gorgeous. Imagine if Tiffany and Co called you up and said “hey bestie, want to borrow ALL the diamonds?” The tailoring on the dress is perfection. Amanda is really having a great run of shows/movies – highly recommend The Housemaid – so we will be seeing A LOT more of her!

Selena Gomez in Chanel

Selena.webp

Someone compared her to the feather duster from Beauty and the Beast and that’s fair! I love this look and her glam is 10/10 - important when you run a beauty line. The feathers are fun without being overwhelming. I wonder if she’ll ever actually win a GG…

Elle Fanning in Gucci

Elle Fanning.webp

Ok old Hollywood glam gorgeousness! This is phenomenal - the beadwork is fantastic and screams CHIC. I love the jewelry and the simplified hair. I also am fully on board with someone who unapologetically loves Jack Black! He’s funny and endearing! And I watch a lot of Minecraft Movie!

Charli XCX in Saint Laurent

Charlie xcx.webp

Anthony Vaccarello (Creative Director of Saint Laurent) said we are working with dimensions! The feathers (fur?) on this dress, the pleated ruffles on Miley… we are getting FASHION! I love a look that makes me zoom in on the details and it feels a modern twist on a classic Hollywood glam.

Chase Infiniti in Louis Vuitton

Chase Infiniti.webp

This is absolutely a case of wearing a dress, not letting the dress wear you. Not everyone is meant to make such a statement, but Chase looks COOL. The architecture is gorgeous and she looks so poised. And her glam is so perfectly complementary to the look. Perfect styling!

Teyana Taylor in Schiaparelli

Best bod in the biz! And that’s not me objectifying – that’s me recognizing a woman who WORKS OUT! She is seriously so gorgeous and I loved this look. What about the diamond butt crack, you ask? Loved it. It was unexpected, spicy, fun and glamorous. And again, an example of being to wear a look. I loved her speech and I love how some of the categories are very much still up in the air heading into the Oscars!

Sarah Snook in Patou

Sarah Snook.webp

This lace look is so pretty! I really love it. And maybe would have considered an up do but her hair is so shiny and bouncy! Maybe she was like “oh, I’m having a GOOD hair day, it stays down”. And mad props to my girl Midge from Shaker Heights Middle School who has costumed Sarah on both Succession and Dorian Gray!!! She’s obviously an elite member of the costume industry!

Hailee Steinfeld in Prada

Hailee Steinfeld.webp

The glow is glowing. Even if she wasn’t pregnant, this dress kills. And the glam plus that necklace just pulls together a LOOK. What a night for her, her Wild Card winning QB Hubbie, and KIND of Sinners. I feel like that Box Office award is to recognize a huge movie that isn’t going to win anything else which actually is criminal to me because Sinners was VERY VERY GOOD. I’ve seen it twice and I’m curious why it’s not getting more award attentions beyond the music (which…omg well deserved!)

Ana de Armas in Louis Vuitton

ana de armas.webp

It’s a good look, full stop. Not sure why she was there, she will always be the person who dated Ben Affleck during Covid. Remember he was MIZ, drinking his Dunkin and seemingly the paps always found them even though the world was shut down? Whoa rabbit hole, but she does really look gorgeous! Is she still dating Tom Cruise?

Kate Hudson in Armani Privé

Kate Hudson.webp

I feel like we are in a Kate Hudson Renaissance. She is back, baby! First, Running Point is a fun romp and now she’s in this Neil Diamond cover band movie and making moves, honey! At first, I was Meh, but the more I look at it- it’s beautifully designed. And Kate had fun in it! She looked so happy and confident on the red carpet.

Britt Lower in Loewe

Brit.webp

I wish I could get into Severance. Sometimes, I am so tired at the end of the day, I don’t want to think that hard while watching TV? Does that make sense? But I respect all you Severance-heads! ALSO, I’m commenting on Loewe in the Mehs and the Nos and then bam, get smacked with this gorgeous frock. I love the color and the dimensions of the ruffle! And I’m not sure it’s for me to comment on the bangs, so let’s just end the commentary here.

Rose Byrne in Chanel

Rose.webp

Some might say it’s not quite the green we would have wanted, but I still love it! It’s luxurious and vibrant and she looks truly fantastic. Also, I really love her work – she’s very funny in a lot of things. And her note about Bobby being at a reptile conference was so perfectly delivered.

Rhea Seehorn in Louis Vuitton

Rhea.webp

This dress is gorgeous!! What I really love to see are unexpected wins! When it’s all predictable and the same old, same old, it gets so boring. Vince Gilligan knows how to write award-winning roles for men AND women, clearly!

Tessa Thompson in Balenciaga

Tessa.webp

I mean- this is just stunning. The sequin design almost looks like brickwork. The color is probably what you all wish Rose Byrne’s dress had been, but now we get a green spectrum on the red carpet! And another person who understood to LET THE DRESS SHINE. Downplay jewels, simplistic (and gorgeous) glam.

Kathy Bates in Sareh Nouri

katyh bates.webp

My Matlock QUEEN! The show is VERY good, you guys! She looks fabulous and I love that she’s not afraid to wear a silhouette that some might feel is too “young” for her (for the record, I’m not in that camp). She also seems so THRILLED to be back in the game.

Alex Cooper in Gucci

Alex Cooper.webp

Her podcast is not for me, personal choice! But this dress is. It’s gorgeous and fits perfectly. And the hair is so perfect with it. Like a modern, blonde Jessica Rabbit.

Nikki Glaser in Zuhair Murad

nikki glaser.webp

I do really like this dress, but more importantly this is the best arena to highlight her comedy. She was SO fun – I fully cackled at her monologue. The Leo and George jokes were very good - we really do NOT know anything about Leo, as was the Michael B. Jordan commentary wink wink, like truly hilarious. Her mid show vignettes all hit, too. And ending with a lovely nod to Rob Reiner. Aces, 10/10, book her next year.

Leighton Meester in Miu Miu

leighton.webp

This is so pretty. I just find it to be like a very girly, nostalgic look and she played the glam to perfection. I am so happy Seth and Leighton are killing it – they are both adorable and REALLY good actors! Blair Waldorf is an absolute icon, lest we forget.

Kirsten Dunst in Tom Ford

Kirsten dunst.webp

It’s such a rarity to get a Tom Ford and he seldomly misses. This is flawless, as is she. It makes me consider how hard it is to get it wrong when you could have access to a dress like this.

Wunmi Mosaku in Matthew Reisman

wunmi Mosaku.webp

She looks simply fabulous. That color is just vibrant and fun. The bump is always the best accessory and I love her braids! She was truly one of the standout performances in Sinners. I cannot say enough about that movie!

Chase Sui Wonders in Balenciaga

chase sui wonders.webp

How good is The Studio? I love it so much. Seth Rogan is just a genius. (Platonic is also VERY good.) Chase (Chase Sui?) is so good on the show, and I really love this dress. It’s just so like early 2000s ball gown, gorgeous jewels nostalgia for me.

Robin Wright in Balenciaga

robin wright.webp

Perfect, no notes. How irritating was it to be in a room with Sean Penn, I wonder? ALSO, did you guys see he smoked…at the table. Can we not be so openly annoying, Sean Penn?

Jean Smart in Tony Ward

jean smart .webp

I love this woman so much. I love Hacks. I love what she stands for and that she stands on business. I love this dress. The end.
